Envoy Air

Envoy Airlines Pipeline Instructor Program

US Aviation Academy has a partnership with Envoy Airlines that’s designed to develop a career path from CFI to Regional Airline Pilot. This exciting program gives pilots a secured position at Envoy while they accumulate time toward the ATP minimum flight experience requirements. Not only does our pipeline program provide a streamlined career path, but Envoy also hires and employs instructors while they are still instructing!

What does this mean for the CFI? It means that while flight instructing, he or she will have medical, dental and vision benefits, as well as travel privileges with American Airlines and Envoy! Once pipeline instructors reach the ATP minimums and 25 hours of multi-engine experience, Envoy will place them into new-hire pilot training in the next new hire class. Additionally, cadets may be eligible for a tuition reimbursement program, giving you an opportunity to pay back loans faster.

How to Apply for Our Airline Pilot Program

Applying for US Aviation’s airline pilot program is easy. Simply complete an application on Airline Applications, and then send an email with your resume to: Pipeline.Instructor@aa.com. We will fly selected applicants to American Airlines/Envoy headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas for the interview. Those selected from the recruitment process will then go to an interview at one of our partner schools. Once Envoy and US Aviation approve them, Envoy will hire the pilots, who will work as instructors at our aviation academy until achieving their ATP minimums.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Commercial Pilot Certification with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
  • CFI and CFII Instructor Certifications
  • Current FAA First Class Medical
  • At least 21 years of age
  • FCC License
  • Valid Passport

Applicants for this airline pilot program must possess the legal right to work in the United States and have the ability to travel in and out of the United States and to all cities and countries Envoy serves. Also, applicants must have the ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays and overnight trips. They must fulfill government-required criminal background checks in order to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas and secure airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges, if applicable. This airline pilot program requires all applicants to be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.

Purple Runway Pathway with Mountain Air Cargo

US Aviation has partnered with Mountain Air Cargo (MAC) as part of their FedEx Purple Runway program. This puts you on the fast track to FedEx’s mainline and give unmatched quality of life. Instructors who work for US Aviation Academy for 12 months are preferred candidates for MAC and eligible to receive one year of credit for one year of service. This means that you will begin your career at Mountain Air Cargo, a FedEx feeder, at the same pay and benefits as other pilots who have already been there for a year.

GoJet Airlines

GoJet Wingman Program Overview

This program provides promising pilots currently enrolled in a professional airline training program an internship at GoJet while they build flight time. Program participants become GoJet First Officers upon completion of ATP minimums. Interns will receive a GoJet Airlines’ non-crew company badge and will have the opportunity to represent GoJet on their campus and at other recruiting events.

The internship includes a two-day visit to GoJet’s corporate headquarters in St. Louis, where participants have the opportunity to talk with new pilots who are actually in systems training, as well as sit in on a new hire class to get a feel for what their training will be like. Students are also exposed to the departments within our Ops Center that they’ll interact with when flying the line, including Dispatch, Crew Scheduling and Maintenance Control. Best of all, the Wingman interns have the opportunity to fly in a full-motion CRJ simulator.

GoJet Benefits

Program participants from approved pipeline schools will receive $10,000 in tuition reimbursement upon completing GoJet Airlines’ First Officer Training program (Paid to the student in three installments over one year). Wingman interns can earn $2,500 for every pilot they refer to GoJet that is hired and successful in our training program (funds are banked until the Wingmen become GoJet First Officers). Wingman interns are mentored by a GoJet Captain or experienced First Officer throughout the duration of their internship. Participants receive limited flight benefits. Participants receive GoJet training materials months prior to reporting for class to increase their chances of success in our training program.

GoJet Enrollment Requirements

  • Enrolled in a flight school with Private and Instrument complete
  • Current FAA First Class Medical
  • Valid Passport / Eligible to work in US

Silver Airways

Emerging Aviator Program

Silver Airways will help finance the last portion of their training as follows:

  • Last $3,000 needed to complete CFI
  • Last $3,000 needed to complete CFI-I
  • Last $4,000 needed to complete MEI (or multi add-on, pilot chooses which rating they want)

The pilot will choose which help do they want, they are not obligated to get all three ratings. Every time the pilot accepts help from Silver Airways they will sign a promissory note committing to 6 months of employment at Silver. The counter for the commitment will start once they reach ATP minimums and start training with Silver. If a pilot chooses all three ratings the commitment will be 18 months, if is only 2 ratings the commitment will be 12 months and 1 rating 6 months. During the whole time the pilot is part of the Emerging Aviator Program they are required to log their hours on Log Ten Pro (free for all pilots in the program).

Republic Airlines

RJet Cadet Program

If you’re a collegiate flight student ready to get your career off the ground, Republic Airline offers you an opportunity to do just that!

Flight students at Part 141 flight universities are eligible to interview for our RJet Cadet Program, an opportunity to receive a conditional offer of employment for a Republic Airline First Officer Pilot position.

Requirements include an instrument rating, minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, eligibility to work in the United States and a valid driver’s license.

RJet Pilot Prep Program

As an alternative to the Cadet Program, the Pilot Prep program is available for those a Commercial and Instrument license and do not qualify for a 1000 hour or 1250 hour R-ATP. In the Pilot Prep Program you will enjoy the same great benefits as the cadets.
